WORKSHOPS

In this workshop, we explore the concept of holding space — both literally and metaphorically — by working with the form of a box. Through art therapy-based interventions, we use the process of creating and transforming a box as a way to contain and express thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
Both the act of art-making and the finished piece serve as reflections of our inner world, offering a tangible way to explore boundaries, self-care, and emotional well-being.

The word mandala comes from Sanskrit, meaning "circle" or "center." Carl Jung introduced mandala-making in the early 1900s as a tool for self-reflection and personal exploration. Today, it is widely used in creative practices to cultivate mindfulness, focus, and relaxation.
Engaging in mandala creation has been shown to reduce stress and promote a sense of calm. This structured yet flexible process provides a space for creativity and self-expression, offering a meditative experience without the need for artistic skill.
